CHAMAECYPARIS obtusa 'Nana Gracilis'

Hinoke False Cypress. A shapely and distinctive conifer due to its unique dark green shell shaped sprays of foliage which appear to form waves and which develop into an uneven conical shaped conifer. A deservedly popular plant which is slow growing and so suitable for a range of sites and the smaller garden and useful in mixed borders or larger rockeries. Prefers full sun or shade, best to avoid very exposed positions. Height and spread, slow growing but will eventually reach up to 6 metres. Plant in moist but well-drained soil. Will tolerate most soil types.
