Strawberry Tree. Arbutus unedo 'Bocarm'
A handsome evergreen spreading shrub / tree with narrow, mid-green leaves, copper-red and serrated when young. Red-brown bark, red-orange when young. White urn-shaped flowers, sometimes tinged pink are produced from September to October. Red strawberry-like fruits are also produced in the autumn. Full sun in a sheltered site, Height and spread 1.5m. Grow in a fertile, well-drained soil. Will tolerate alkaline soil, Shelter from cold winds.
